Tarini Nirula
A graduate of National Institute of Fashion Technology, Tarini launched her
own label of luxury fashion accessories in November 2011. Each Tarini Nirula minaudière (fancy word for small ornamental case for a woman’s personal items) is adorned with traditional surface ornamentation and is assembled by hand by skilled artisans.
Tarini has collaborated with leading fashion designers including Manish
Arora, Jenjum Gadi and Hemant & Nandita to create bespoke accessories. Her designs have been featured in famous publications like Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire.
I’m in love with the Indian inspired pieces! The traditional motifs are either embroidered and/or embellished with beads and other sparkly elements. It really stands out! Although Tarini has a wide range of accessories available, also including contemporary pieces with bold prints, I prefer the Indian inspired items. I would personally finish my Western contemporary dress styles, or casual-chic dark jeans + blazer ensembles with these oriental pieces. Just to give it a East meets West finish. Think Victoria Beckham styles, keeping the clothes simple and chic and making a stand with bold accessories and nails! When it comes to your nails, give your look edge and a pop of color!
