This two day special features highlights from Ramadan and Eid collections by Middle Eastern and Pakistani designers. Today I would like to share my favorite pieces from four different designer collections. Tomorrow we feature Sania Maskatiya’s Eid collection. Eid Mubarak to all those celebrating!
These pieces by Zainab Chottani are from her Prêt Eid Collection 2018. They are decorated with Swarovski crystals, gold tilla (ornamental) work and beautiful intricate embroidery. The tan and soft pink shades are very stylish and the light fabrics are summer proof.
The shoot was captured by Shahbaz Shazi. The pieces are modelled by Anam Aslam and Rabia Chaudhry. With hair & make-up by Shazia Rashid and jewelry by Allure by MHT Mehreen Tabani.
Sublime by Sara‘s summer friendly Eid collection is très élégant. Minimalistic chic is Sublime’s brand philosophy with a strong focus on color and cut. The collection includes tunics, kurtas and kaftans. I adore the pastel colors. These gowns are perfect for an evening out, the embellishments give the looks a touch of glamour.
The pictures were shot by photographer duo Maram and Aabroo. The looks are showcased by model Noor Bhatti.
Effa Couture releases a Ramadan & Eid collection every year including signature Abaya and Jalabiya pieces. This year’s collection named Fly Me To The Moon drew inspiration from the East and West. European princesses of the eighteenth century meet Arabian style. It is a feminine and romantic collection including looks with dramatic bell sleeves, ruffles, flowing capes. The birds and floral embroidery along with pastel colors add soft sweetness to the designs.
Bouguessa‘s Ramadan 2018 collection includes kaftans and long coats and is elegant, minimalistic and light. Comfort is key. The color palette includes: green, grey, pink and beige. This contemporary collection forms a bridge between East and West. It is effortlessly chic!
