Fashion Parade London took place on the 31st of May 2016, showcasing South Asia’s finest fashion designers. This annual event was launched in 2013 and aims to promote South Asian fashion in Britain. It is organized by Mustang Productions in association with Encyclomedia PR.
10 leading South Asian designers, from Pakistan, UK and UAE presented their collections, showing a fusion of traditional silhouettes & styles with modern details.
Beautiful models strut down the Fashion Parade runway wearing designs by Faiza Samee, Studio S by Seher Tareen, Hira Shah, Khushboos by Chand, Nomi Ansari, Ali Xeeshan, Saira Rizwan, Mehreen Noorani, Raishma and HSY.
I was most impressed by the collection from Pakistani couturier Faiza Samee, who made a collection specially for the show. It was hard for me to pick a favorite, which is why I’ve shared two colourful ensembles by Faiza below. This collection can be described as a juxtaposition of pattern and colour with a fusion of silhouettes and a variety of shapes and lengths. Showstopping looks!
