Xerjoff Italian Luxury Perfume: Casamorati

Xerjoff is a luxury perfume brand from Italy. It was established in 2004 by Sergio Momo. The Casamorati collection is a tribute to ‘Fabrica Di Profumi C. Casamorati’, a 19^th century haute parfumerie established in Bologna, Italy. Our perfume partners from parfumerie.nl introduced me to the Casamorati collection, this is my review.

UNISEX FRAGRANCES

Casamorati 1888 is one of my favorites from this collection. It is a fresh scent, that reminds me of those tiny, oval shaped luxury soaps…whenever you unwrap them from their paper wrapper a fresh, soapy scent embraces you and instantly you feel like taking a bath. This fragrance is an oriental fragrance that includes the following notes: pepper, coriander, patchouli, amber, rose, ylang-ylang and different types of wood. This is a perfect scent for a romantic evening out with your partner.

This is also a perfect valentine’s day, wedding or anniversary gift, as it can be worn by both men and women. You and your partner can share this fragrance together. There is something very romantic about that thought!

Regio is just like 1888, a fragrance for both men and women. It is very intense and strong and I feel it does not suit both men and women, but just men. It is the smell of lavender and citrus fruits that overwhelms me. This type of scent is perfect for icy winter nights, it has that same type of freshness.

WOMEN

Dama Bianca is like a bouquet of flowers, it is very fragrant. A scent perfect for the warm spring/summer nights. It reminds me of flowers that only bloom in the evening and fill the air with sweet aromas. This fragrance is like a warm embrace. I would advice to wear it in the evening only, as it is quite a strong scent and it is very present.

Bouquet Ideale is spicy and mysterious. You can also really smell the sweetness of vanilla. This scent is very feminine and very much like a woman; sweet and gentle, a little mysterious at times and sometimes fierce.

Fiore D’Ulivo is quite a strong scent and smells a lot like aromatic oils used for massages. This fragrance is a tribute to olive flowers, it includes: lotus, jasmine, magnolia, amber and musk. This scent would suit a spiritual type who enjoys the smell of incense.

Lira – the first scent that comes to my mind when inhaling this fragrance is the sweet scent of star anise. The list of ingredients from this fragrance does not include star anise, but the sweetness comes from the caramel, licorice and vanilla notes. This fragrance is for the sweet tooth who likes both the taste and smell of sweets.

MEN

Mefisto is a fragrance I can recommend to everyone. The freshness of the lemon and sweetness of the grapefruit are most present. It is a very light scent and perfect for everyday use, like going to work or other daily activities. Every time I inhale this scent I fall more and more in love with it. I feel very excited to share this one with my partner. This is a must have. Fragrance enthusiasts, add this one to your list!

This fragrance includes the following notes: lemon, bergamot, grapefruit, lavender, rose, iris, musk, amber and cedar wood.

Fiero

A very fitting name as ‘fiero’ means ‘fierce’ in Spanish and ‘proud’ in Italian. This is a very strong scent, masculine and intense. The smell of lavender and citrus fruits are very present. It is also fresh and minty. This is a scent that suits the cold autumn-winter months best.

Favorites – Mefisto for men and 1888 for both men and women are real must haves!
