Fashion enthusiasts, keep Friday the 29th of March reserved for a fashion packed day at the India Fashion Summit 2013. The event will take place at The Eros Hilton, Nehru place, New Delhi. After a successful first edition in 2012, the Indian Federation for Fashion Development (IFFD) is organizing a second edition this Friday. The India Fashion Summit is an event where fashion companies, experts, NGO’s and politicians are gathered to present themselves to their audience and the press and where industry players speak about the various aspects of the fashion industry during an informative conference. The theme of the summit this year is female empowerment, aimed to celebrate the female fashion designers of India. This is the year for female fashion students to embrace their femininity and make a difference in the fashion industry as strong independent women.
The event starts at 10 am with a conference. At 3 pm the India Fashion Summit runway is ready for up and coming and established designers to show their collections. Fashion designers participating this year are: Rajdeep Ranawat, Samant Chauhan, Amit Talwar, APJ School, Looto (brand), Siddarth Tytler, Rosy Ahluwalia, Sanna Chandna, Kailash, Deepika Chandna, Sumit Das Gupta and Swati Mehrotra.
For Indian fashion enthusiasts this is a must visit event. You can learn more about the aspects of the fashion industry, hear about what is needed to make a name for yourself and how to create a solid brand. The conference is followed by an afternoon of show and entertainment.
